Gunman sought in Bronx double shooting

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police are looking for a gunman after two men were wounded in a double shooting in the Bronx on Sunday morning.

The victims, both 19-year-old men, were struck at about 6:23 a.m. in the vicinity of 910 East 132nd St. in Mott Haven, cops said.

According to officials, authorities were made aware of the shooting by staff at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln after the victims walked in at about 6:32 a.m. seeking treatment.

One victim was shot in the leg and the other in his buttocks. Both were listed in stable condition and are expected to survive.

There have been no arrests made and police are investigating a possible motive for the shooting.
