Woman beats man to death with table leg on Harlem street after doing drugs with him: NYPD

A woman beat a man to death with a wooden table leg after doing drugs with him on a Harlem street, police said Wednesday.

Sabrina Charles was charged Tuesday evening with murder and weapon possession.

Charles, 39, is also charged with stealing belongings from the victim, who had no identification on him but is believed to be in his 40s.

Charles and the victim were doing drugs just before she attacked him on Hancock Place near W. 124th St. about 4:20 a.m. Tuesday, cops said.

The victim, with trauma wounds to his head and body, was rushed by medics to Mount Sinai Morningside, where he died.

The brown table leg was recovered and appeared to have blood on it, police said.

Charles, who lives in East Harlem, has 23 previous arrests, including for drugs and robbery, police said. Her arraignment was pending in Manhattan Criminal Court Wednesday.
