A Closer Look

On the day Philip Seymour Hoffman died, the authorities found almost 50 envelopes, labeled “Ace of Spades,” filled with what they believed was heroin. Also discovered were used syringes, prescription drugs, and empty bags that law enforcement suspected were utilized to hold the heroin.

Hoffman was expected to pick up his children that day but didn’t show up. Playwright David Katz and another individual went to the apartment and found Hoffman’s lifeless body. The actor was dressed in a T-shirt and shorts with eyeglasses still on his head.
