Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Arrested Amid Federal Investigation

Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been arrested, his attorney confirmed to CNN. Combs was taken into custody at a Manhattan hotel on Monday night, though the specific charges against him have yet to be revealed.

Marc Agnifilo, Combs’ attorney, expressed disappointment over the arrest, stating, “We are disheartened by the decision to move forward with what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.”

Agnifilo emphasized that Combs has been fully cooperating with the investigation and had relocated to New York last week in anticipation of possible charges. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, a self-made entrepreneur, and a dedicated family man who has spent the last 30 years building an empire and uplifting the Black community. He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal,” Agnifilo said. “These actions reflect the behavior of an innocent man who looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

Combs’ legal troubles escalated earlier this year when he became the focus of a months-long sex trafficking investigation led by Homeland Security Investigations. The investigation included high-profile searches of his homes in Los Angeles and Miami in March.
