Man shoots at NYC woman’s apt. door for rejecting his advances

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Thursday released video footage of a man accused of shooting at a woman’s Bronx apartment door last month after she rejected his advances.

At approximately 2 a.m., on Monday, Sept. 23, a 28-year-old woman was inside her apartment in the vicinity of Andrews Avenue and West 179th Street in University Heights with the wanted man which she had met that night the NYPD said.

Once inside the apartment, the man made sexual advances, but the victim rejected his advances, officials said.

As the woman escorted him out of her apartment, the man brandished a firearm and discharged one round towards the apartment door, which caused damage to the wall.

The suspect then fled on foot to parts unknown.

The suspect is believed to be approximately 25 to 40 years of age. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a black t-shirt with a multi-color drawing on the front and black sneakers.
