Boy, 15, beaten and robbed of his shoes in the Bronx; 2 sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Monday released photos of two suspects they are searching for accused of beating and robbing a teen of his shoes in the Bronx last month.

At approximately 7:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, a 15-year-old boy was in the vicinity of 1330 Louis Nine Blvd. in Charlotte Gardens when he was approached by the suspects from behind.

The suspects then began to punch and kick the boy and forcefully stole the victim’s shoes, backpack, and iPhone, officials said.

The victim suffered bruising and minor cut to his face but refused further medical attention on scene.

The suspects fled location on foot to parts unknown.
