NYC teen in critical condition after being shot in the head in Brooklyn, cops say

At least three shot overnight in two boroughs: NYPD

A 15-year-old boy was clinging to life after he was shot in the head in Brooklyn — several hours before a 33-year-old man was shot to death in the Bronx, police said Saturday.

The teen was found near Lenox Road and Rockaway Parkway in Brownsville at around 8:45 p.m. Friday, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

He was rushed to Maimonides Medical Center i n critical condition.

There were no immediate suspects nor motive in the shooting, cops said.

Around the same time, gunfire erupted about five miles away near Downtown Brooklyn, leaving a 36-year-old man in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the neck, cops said.

The victim was involved in an argument that escalated around 8 p.m. near Park Avenue and St. Edwards Street, cops said.
