A 24-year-old man who was apparently watching the New York City Marathon from a third-story window fell to his death in Williamsburg on Sunday, according to the NYPD and law-enforcement sources.
The man, who was not publicly named, fell at around 12:30 p.m. as racers were passing near South 6th Street and Bedford Avenue in Brooklyn, police said.
The victim was believed to have been watching the marathon runners go by when he plunged the three stories, sources told The Post.
Officers quickly arrived at the scene and found the man unconscious and unresponsive. He was rushed to the New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he was declared dead, according to cops.
