The Third Squad reports the arrest of a male juvenile for a Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 3:50 pm in North New Hyde Park. According to detectives, a male juvenile, 17, entered Target located at 1400 Union Turnpike. The juvenile than entered the electronics department where he tampered and damaged a merchandise protection device before concealing the item. The defendant than passed all points of purchase without rendering payment and attempted to exit the store. A loss prevention officer confronted the juvenile and a struggle ensued. The defendant than dropped.
