Woman, 18, raped inside of a car in Queens; suspects sought: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – An 18-year-old woman reported being raped early Friday morning in Queens after getting into a car with three strangers, police said.

The assault happened at around 4:45 a.m. when the woman got into a black sedan with the trio, whom she had met the day before, cops said.

The car eventually ended up at Flushing Meadows Park near the Long Island Expressway at Exit 22A. The woman told police that one of the suspects raped her.

The suspects then drove away in the sedan, according to a police report.

The survivor was taken to Booth Memorial Hospital, where an NYPD Special Victims Unit team is interviewing her as part of the ongoing investigation.

An investigation is ongoing.
