Man attacked with bottle, robbed of cash and designer fanny pack in the Bronx

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Tuesday released photos of two suspects accused of attacking a man with a bottle then stealing his money and designer fanny pack in the Bronx earlier this month.

It happened at approximately 4:15 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, in the vicinity of 1406 Ogden Avenue in Mount Eden.

According to officials, the two suspects were engaged in a dispute with the 36-year-old victim when they struck him in the head with a bottle and repeatedly punched him in the face with closed fists.

The suspects then stole the victim’s designer fanny pack, jewelry, watch, glasses, driver’s license, and approximately $1,700 before fleeing the location in a white vehicle to parts unknown, authorities said.

EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
