NYPD searches for man who groped girl, 5, near Roosevelt Hotel

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for a man who groped a 5-year-old girl near the Roosevelt Hotel in Midtown.

The NYPD’s Special Victim’s Unit is investigating the sex attack, which happened around 9 p.m. Wednesday at 46 West 46th St.

The girl was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, according to police, who said she’d been sexually abused.

The man knows the girl and her family, who are residents of the Roosevelt Hotel migrant shelter, according to cops.

Police are not releasing the name of the suspect, but they said they know who they are looking for.
