A 35-year-old man was fatally shot outside a Hell’s Kitchen apartment building in Manhattan early Saturday, cops said.
Officers called to W. 49th St. near Ninth Ave. just before 3 a.m. found the victim sprawled out on the ground.
He was shot twice in the chest and body, but was conscious when first responders arrived, cops said.
EMS rushed him to Bellevue Hospital, where he died a short time later. His name was not immediately disclosed as cops track down relatives.
A motive for the shooting was not immediately disclosed and no arrests have been made, police said.
Cops on Saturday were scouring the area for surveillance footage that could help them identify the shooter.
