Man charged after allegedly killing robber during fight over bike in Queens

CORONA, Queens (PIX11) — A man is accused of stabbing a robber to death during a fight over a bike on a Queens street Monday, police said.

Nelson Torres, 33, allegedly attacked 22-year-old Anderson Archila-Martinez when the victim tried to steal his bike near Junction Boulevard and Roosevelt Avenue in Corona at around 12:45 a.m., according to the NYPD.

Archila-Martinez was stabbed in the abdomen and rushed to the hospital but could not be saved.
