Man, woman wounded in nearby Bronx shootings; locals fear stray gunfire

A man and woman were wounded in separate nearby shootings in the Bronx less than 15 minutes apart Friday night, police said Saturday.

The bloodshed began around 9:08 p.m. when gunfire erupted on E. 146th St. near Brook Ave. in Mott Haven, striking a 32-year-old man in the torso.
