Man arrested in fatal stabbing on MTA shuttle bus in Brooklyn: NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man was arrested in the fatal stabbing of another man on an MTA shuttle bus in Brooklyn on Mother’s Day, according to the NYPD.

Police said Kareem McCalla, 36, was taken into custody on Tuesday and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

McCalla was accused of stabbing 41-year-old Alvin Francis in the abdomen on a J90 bus near Crescent and Etna streets around 2 p.m., according to authorities.
