STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Although some rain could linger into Memorial Day weekend, the forecast should clear up just in time for the holiday.
“A storm will move up along the coast with drenching rain and gusty winds from Wednesday to Thursday,”AccuWeather senior meteorologist Adam Douty said.
That system will deliver anywhere between 1.5 to 3 inches of rain by Thursday night, the time in which the precipitation is set to wind down, according to Tom Kines, a senior meteorologist with AccuWeather.
