Midnight Parade Raised Eyebrows in North Crown Heights

On the eve of Lag Baomer, families of the Anshei Moshe shul in North Crown Heights gathered for an exciting rally, followed by a bonfire and a lively parade complete with a marching band and torches lichvod Rashbi.

As Lag BaOmer approached, the Anshei Moshe Family Shul on Lincoln Place in Crown Heights transformed into a hub of excitement and joy. In the early afternoon, children gathered to create beautiful “Geon Yaakov” banners, each showcasing a special mitzvah or aspect of Yiddishkeit. It was a beautiful arts and crafts session where every child proudly prepared their own sign and crown for the parade.

At 8:00, the children gathered outside for a Grand Rally Lichvod Rashbi, complete with snacks, balloons, and engaging activities. With tens of kinderlach in attendance, they learned about the significance of Lag BaOmer, recited the 12 Pesukim, and enjoyed stories, raffles, and prizes. Rally was led by the Shul’s Rav, Rabbi Menachem Mendel D. Yusewitz
