TikTok’s ‘sandwich king’ and influencer, Salt Hank, has opened his very own sandwich shop in Manhattan’s West Village, proudly bearing his name. Salt Hank’s only just opened on Friday, June 20th and it’s already met massive success as creators are flocking to the internet, deeming the single item on the menu as the ‘best sandwich in NYC.’
So what’s the buzzsworthy sandwich that’s got the internet drooling? Salt Hank’s specializes in the ultimate French dip. Made on a crunchy Frenchette baguette, the monster of a sandwich is smothered in a roasted garlic aioli, topped with juicy shaved prime rib, provolone cheese, seven-hour caramelized onions and served with a bowl of finger-licking au jus. And yes, we tried it, and it’s as delicious as it sounds.
Salt Hank has been developing recipes and making mouthwatering sandwiches on camera for what seems like forever. The French dip is his favorite sandwich, and before opening his new restaurant solely dedicated to the sammy, he sold French dips out of Greenberg’s Bagels last December.
