Some NYC public pools closed temporarily after opening

NEW YORK (PIX11) – All 50 free New York City outdoor pools were expected to open on Friday, but at least three are temporarily closed, according to NotifyNYC.

The Jackie Robinson Pool, West Brighton Wading Pool and Claremont Wading Pool are all shut down. It’s unclear why they’re closed.

The Red Hook Pool has also been shut down due to mechanical issues, according to the Parks Department.
