Police have launched a murder investigation after a 40-year-old woman was found fatally stabbed inside a Wakefield home on Saturday night, June 28.
The NYPD said on Saturday, at around 8.35 p.m., officers from the 47th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding a woman who had been stabbed inside a building on East 232nd Street, between Carpenter Avenue and White Plains Road.
“Upon arrival, officers observed a 40-year-old female with a stab wound to the chest and right arm,” a police spokesperson said. “EMS responded and transported the victim to Montefiore hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.”…
