NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for an assailant who pistol-whipped and robbed a man on the subway in Midtown, police announced Wednesday.
The 35-year-old victim was riding on an E train approaching the 42nd Street-Port Authority subway station when he was approached by the suspect at about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday. The suspect then began beating the victim with a firearm, before taking the victim’s iPhone 14 Pro Max. Police say the suspect then fled to another train car before leaving the scene.
