NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — More than a dozen people have been arrested in connection with a bribery scheme for driver’s licenses in Queens, the Staten Island District Attorney announced Tuesday.
The long-term investigation conducted by the district attorney, the New York State Inspector General, and other agencies led to the indictment of 14 people, including government employees and workers at a Queens driving school.

According to the D.A., multiple DMV examiners are accused of accepting cash to falsify road test results or to allow people to bypass the test altogether. Some even allowed residents to fraudulently obtain learner’s permits.
