NYC residents demand action against homeless couple’s encampment

KIPS BAY, Manhattan (PIX11)– The co-op owners of 311 East 25th Street say they’ve been in a months-long standoff with an unhoused couple who’ve made a home on the building’s stoop.

“We pay a lot of money in our building’s budget, in taxes, and we feel like they have more rights to inhabit this corner than we do,” said resident Marc Sterling.
