July 2, 2025 – U.S. Marshal’s located and arrested wanted murder suspect Omeed Yahya Esmail, 39, Tuesday in New York City for the March homicide of Joseph Williams, 65, in his Red Roof motel room on Claridge Drive. Williams was found unresponsive in the bathtub after he and Esmail had been living there together for the last two months.
The continued work by Homicide Unit detectives to investigate the circumstances of his death led them to discover Esmail was the last one to have been with Williams in the room on March 15th before his body was found days later by a motel employee…
