Officials in Turks and Caicos are working to identify a decomposed body discovered on Saturday, July 5, and determine whether it belongs to Brian Tarrence, a New York City man who vanished while vacationing with his wife.
Tarrence, 51, of Manhattan, was last seen around 3:30 a.m. on June 25, captured on surveillance video leaving the Paradise Inn in Grace Bay, Providenciales, where he had been staying with his wife, Maria. The couple had arrived on the island just days earlier to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.
More than a week later, on July 5 at 9:06 a.m., the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RTCIPF) announced the discovery of an unidentified male body in an advanced state of decomposition in the Grace Bay area…
