‘I want to hold him’: Family distraught after teen dies subway surfing in Queens

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — The family of a 15-year-old boy who died while subway surfing is speaking out, hoping the city takes even more steps to protect young people.

“I want him here, I want to hold him, someone has to do something,” the sister of Carlos Oliver tells PIX11 News.

Police say Oliver was subway surfing, riding on top of a moving No. 7 train, when he lost his balance and fell.
