Zohran Mamdani shocked everyone when he rose out of nowhere to win the Democratic primary for NYC Mayor back in June. Despite the great start to his run, it will be much more difficult for the Queens Assemblyman to win the general election in November due to a more contested field, and his ever-growing rift with the large Jewish community in New York City. Dov Hikind, former NY Assembly Member and founder of Americans Against Antisemitism, spoke with Mendte in the Morning about Mamdani and whether the Democratic nominee can repair his relationship with Jewish voters.
