Police say two men were shot Sunday night in The Bronx near where thousands celebrated the Dominican Parade earlier in the day. The NYPD says a 24-year-old man was shot in the backside at Elliot Place and Grand Concourse. He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition. Another male was shot but details about him had not been released as of Sunday night.
The shooting happened after several reported incidents at the Dominican Day Parade.
