Family of groom-to-be killed in wrong-way crash sues NYC club, NYPD officer

NEW YORK (PIX11) — The family of a Manhattan man who was killed in a wrong-way crash a day before his wedding last year is suing the alleged drunk driver and the NYPD cop who chased him before the fatal crash on the Henry Hudson Parkway.

The city, then-teen driver Jimmy Connors, NYPD Officer Boubacar Barry, and Manhattan club Nebula are named as defendants in the lawsuit filed in a New York Supreme Court last week, according to the complaint. The parties are being sued for negligence.
