A Woman Was Admitted to the Hospital Over 100 Days Ago. Nobody Knows Who She Is

Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman who has remained hospitalized for more than three months with no known identity.

According to a news release, the woman was admitted to Mount Sinai Morningside on April 12 after a concerned passerby found her sitting alone on a bus stop bench at 125th Street and Lenox Avenue in Harlem and called 911.

Hospital staff say the woman may go by the name “Pam,” though her true identity remains unknown. They described her as a Black woman, likely in her 50s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing around 170 pounds, with dark brown eyes and graying black hair. She is known to wear black clothing and often covers her face.

“She’s believed to frequent the area around 125th Street and Lenox Avenue,” the hospital said in its statement…
