NYC housing lottery applicants’ personal information exposed online

Applicants to New York City’s affordable housing lottery program may be victims of a data breach, a CBS News New York investigation revealed.

Hundreds of thousands of applications dating back years were publicly viewable online, including salaries, home addresses, phone numbers and, in some cases, Social Security numbers.
