NYC will stop accepting SNAP benefit theft claims

NEW YORK (PIX11) – New York City will soon stop accepting requests to replace stolen SNAP benefits.

The deadline to request a replacement for stolen SNAP benefits is Sept. 30, according to the city’s Department of Homeless Services. Until then, the city will only reimburse money stolen before Dec. 20, 2024.
