Deadly vapor-borne disease rips through New York City killing 3 and hospitalizing dozens

As New York City battles a deadly disease, stricter rules are being enforced to stop the carnage from spreading.

As of August 8, 83 people in upper Manhattan have been infected with Legionnaire’s disease, a kind of pneumonia that spreads through bacteria in warm water.

Of these cases, there have been three deaths, and 21 people are currently hospitalized. All of the cases have been found in the Harlem, East Harlem, and Morningside Heights neighborhoods.
