NYPD seeks suspect who tore down LGBTQIA+ flags in Midtown hate crime investigation

New York, NY — The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with a hate crime incident that occurred in front of 209 Madison Avenue last month.

According to police, on Saturday, June 28 at approximately 11:39 a.m., the suspect removed two LGBTQIA+ flags from a fence outside the Midtown location before fleeing the area in an unknown direction.
