Person killed by subway train in Grand Central, No. 7 line suspended

MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A person was killed after they were hit by a subway train inside Grand Central, leading to the No. 7 line being partially suspended during the Monday morning commute.

The person was struck by a train near 42nd Street and 3rd Avenue around 6:30 a.m., according to the FDNY. They died at the scene and no criminality is suspected, the NYPD said.
