Cases of deadly disease emerge in another New York City borough after outbreak kills 6

New York City’s health department has launched an investigation after at least two cases of Legionnaires disease were detected in the Bronx, New York.

Two residents of the Parkchester North Condominiums tested positive for the disease within 10 months of each other. A full of evaluation of the building is still underway.

The cases are thought to be related to a building’s internal hot water plumbing system,according to health officials.
