Sudden ceiling collapse at IHOP location injures 9 people, prompts closure

NEW YORK (WKRC) – A ceiling collapse at an IHOP left nine people injured on Friday morning, prompting a full vacate order from the Department of Buildings.

The incident occurred at the restaurant in Brooklyn’s Flatlands neighborhood just before 9:30 a.m., according to Brooklyn Paper, when a 10-by-10-inch section of the ceiling fell.
