Four suspects beat and rob man in Harlem street attack before fleeing on foot

NEW YORK, NY – A 49-year-old man was brutally assaulted and robbed by four people during an early-morning attack in Harlem on Tuesday, police said.

The victim was standing outside 2271 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard around 3:15 a.m. when he was approached by the unidentified group. After a verbal dispute, the suspects repeatedly punched him, knocking him to the ground, where they kicked him in the face and body, authorities said.

While the victim was down, the attackers stole his wallet and cellphone before fleeing on foot. He suffered minor abrasions and was taken by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where he was listed in stable condition…
