NYC public schools closed 2 days next week: What you need to know

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — It’s only been a few weeks since New York City students returned to class for the 2025-2026 school year, but some time off is on the way.

All public school students in New York City will have two days off next week in observance of a holiday, according to the school calendar.
