Cardi B becomes the newest voice for the MTA subway

NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Don’t be surprised if you hear a familiar voice on the subways telling you to “ride safe, keep it cute, and keep it moving, okurrr!”

Grammy-winning rapper and New York City-native Cardi B is the newest voice to echo through the subway systems with a fresh round of public safety announcements.

Her distinct voice and New York City charm will remind riders that “steps are for stepping, not sitting” and “these trains don’t move without you, so make sure you pay that fare and keep it real.”

The Cardi B round of PSA announcements comes after the rapper recently took to the five boroughs to promote her second studio album, “Am I the Drama?”
