99-Year-Old Man Robbed of $20K at Gunpoint in New York City in Broad Daylight, Authorities Say

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect who violently robbed a 99-year-old landlord at gunpoint in board daylight, making off with a whopping $20,000.

The assault and robbery took place at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 22, in Manhattan’s Washington Heights neighborhood. The victim was standing at the entrance to an apartment building when the suspect approached him, grabbed the gate, and forcibly accosted the victim to gain entry to the building, as per police.

Once in the building, the robber held a firearm to the victim’s neck and demanded that he be taken to his office; it was there that the suspect stole $20,000 and fled the scene on food, according to the NYPD…
