The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection with a knifepoint robbery that occurred in Norwood.
Police said that Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, at around 11.55 p.m. in front of 111 East 210th Street, an unidentified person hailed a taxi. “Upon entering the taxi, the individual displayed a knife and demanded the 44-year-old male victim’s wallet,” a police spokesperson said. “The victim complied and the individual removed around $500 and a debit card from the wallet.”
Police said the suspect then got out of the taxi without paying and fled on foot, traveling southbound on Bainbridge Avenue. They said no injuries were reported and that the suspect is described as female and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and white sneakers…
