A Bronx man made the purchase of a lifetime, winning the second prize worth $1 million in the New York Lottery’s Mega Millions game, lottery officials announced.

Jason Williams of the Bronx claimed the prize after matching the first five numbers in the June 11, 2024, multi-state drawing. He chose a one-time lump sum payment of $606,313 after required tax withholdings, according to officials.
