Hundreds walk Mario M. Cuomo Bridge to end domestic violence

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Hundreds of survivors, families, and advocates came together for the annual “Shine the Light” Solidarity Bridge Walk on the Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, an empowering show of unity for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Supported by Goya Gives and led by the Center for Safety and Change, the walk brought communities from across the tri-state area to stand up for survivors and shine a light on hope and healing.
