Missing Randolph woman last seen in Dover found safe in Harlem, authorities say

DOVER, N.J. (Morris County) — A Randolph woman who had been missing since July has been found safe in New York City following a months-long investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies, according to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.

Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and Human Services Police Chief Brian Lee announced Tuesday that 26-year-old Destiny Erts, who was last seen at the Dover Public Library on July 11, 2025, was located on October 21, 2025, in Harlem.

Authorities said the investigation extended into New York City, with the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Missing Persons Unit and the Human Services Police Department working in coordination with the NYPD and FBI.
