2 men charged with murders in Bronx precinct where violence has spiked

Police arrested two men and charged them with murder Wednesday in connection with two separate killings in a Bronx precinct where violent crime has spiked this year despite a citywide drop, according to the NYPD.

Officers from the 47th Precinct in the northern Bronx took 67-year-old Enoch Rosado and 24-year-old Devonte Moore into custody following unrelated homicides this month. Police said killings have more than doubled in the precinct so far this year compared to this time last year, with nearly a dozen reported through Oct. 19.

Rosado was charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal weapons possession for allegedly stabbing his roommate to death early Wednesday after an argument at their home in NYCHA’s Edenwald Houses, officials said…
