NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released surveillance footage Tuesday of a man wanted in the gunpoint robbery of an 87-year-old woman in Greenwich Village over the weekend.
Just after midnight on Sunday, Oct. 26, the victim was entering a residential building near the intersection of West 4th Street and Jane Street when she was approached from behind by the suspect, authorities saId.
The suspect allegedly displayed a firearm and verbally threatened the victim while demanding her property. The woman complied, handing over her purse and the suspect immediately fled the scene on foot, last seen heading eastbound on Jane Street…
