Court documents reveal that a father stabbed his 12-year-old step-daughter with various kitchen utensils.
Joshua Burnside, 28, was arraigned Wednesday, accused of stabbing his ex-wife and her daughter inside their Crotona Park East apartment on Oct. 22. Burnside appeared in court virtually from his hospital bed.
The criminal complaint reveals new details, including the 12-year-old girl was stabbed “…numerous times about the face and body with various sharp objects, including but not limited to a knife, fork, spoon, plate, tongs, crochet needle, and other sharp metal objects causing multiple bleeding lacerations, as well as extreme swelling and bruising to both eyes.”…
