6 wanted for beating, pistol-whipping man in Manhattan sneaker robbery

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A group of men beat, pistol-whipped and robbed a man of his Nike sneakers in Upper Manhattan, police said Friday as they released images of six suspects.

The broad-daylight attack from Sept. 28 left the 21-year-old victim hospitalized, according to the NYPD.

He was walking at West 146th Street and Broadway in Hamilton Heights just after 7 p.m. when a half-dozen males came up and punched and kicked him, police said. One of them also used a firearm to pistol-whip him on the head…
